A place I often visit… I visit an idea, a fantasy where my
livelihood is a pen and paper. I see myself atop an empire of my own literature,
both big and small. Poems, Shorts, Feature lengths, and Novels piled beneath me.
I see a crowd of people digesting my stories, and still hungry for more. I see
myself leading a business of literature and film where the stories leap off the
page and enter reality. A company where dreams come true for those who want to be
stars, directors, or filmmakers. A company where the writer is no longer the bottom
of the totem pole, but instead the bright and shiny topper. I see a mass of consumers flooding theatres
all around the world, paying visits to those new creations. I see the audience
embarking an emotional journey from the minute the film starts until the end
credits roll. I see those reactions as fulfillment, but still wanting and
yearning for more. I see the construction of a massive park used to as a setting to build
stories and create films, but also for public enjoyment. I see hordes of families,
couples, and groups of friends pouring through the park gates ready to experience
the entertainment first-hand. I see the fulfillment of dreams and happiness. This
is the place I often visit.
